U.S. Coast Guard and Samoa Strengthen Maritime Cooperation

On Tuesday, 09th April 2024, the U.S Coast Guard conducted a tabletop exercise for SPPCS Maritime officers, reinforcing their partnership under the Shiprider agreement. The exercise aimed to enhance communication and coordination in combating maritime crime.

Participants simulated various scenarios, fostering familiarity with Coast Guard procedures. Commanders emphasized collaboration’s importance in protecting Samoa’s waters. The exercise underscores the commitment of both nations to maritime security.
