Samoa Police, Prisons & Corrections Services CEU Engages Savai’i Community

The Communication Engagement Unit (CEU) of the Samoa Police, Prisons & Corrections Services showcased its proactive approach in fostering community relations with two impactful programs in Savai’i.
Over the weekend, the CEU collaborated with the Methodist Church in Salelavalu-Uta for a community awareness program, emphasizing crucial safety and crime prevention measures. The initiative, held on Sunday, 14th April 2024, saw active participation from local residents, fostering a sense of unity in safeguarding their neighborhoods.
Continuing their outreach efforts, the CEU team extended their engagement to the education sector. This morning, on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, they conducted a school awareness program at Don Bosco school in Salelologa. Addressing students, the CEU highlighted the importance of personal safety and community cooperation in maintaining a secure learning environment.
