Moana Pasifika Rugby Team Community Day

Samoa Police Royal Band led today’s morning parade with the Moana Pasifika Rugby team, together with local schools, communities, Samoa Tourism Authority and Digicel Samoa in raising our National Flag.

Samoa Police, Prisons & Corrections Services deployed its officers along the Main Beach Road to ensure smooth and safety of the Moana Pasefika team and general public movement during the parade. Moana Pasifika Rugby Team, management and patron Tuifa’asisina Sir Bryan Williams gifted a signed Moana Pasifika jersey to the Deputy Prime Minister Tuala Tevaga Iosefo Ponifasi.

It’s community day for the boys to meet and hang-out with our local people in-front of the Government Building and NPF Plaza and also free merchandise were given out. Best wishes for Moana Pasifika team on their upcoming home game against Queensland Reds on Friday night this week at Apia Park Stadium.
