The Samoa Police, Prisons & Corrections Services (SPPCS) continued their annual visitation to the Mapuifagalele Elderly Home.

On the 14th of December 2023 Commissioner Auapaau Logoitino Filipo, Deputy Commissioners, members of the Executive and the Police choir visited the Mapufagalele Elderly Home at Vailele. This is an annual visit conducted by SPPCS to show its support and gratitude to the Little Sisters of the Poor for all they do to support and care for its residents.
The Commissioner praised the efforts and commitment of the Sisters at Mapufagalele for the care of its elderly residents. He acknowledged the hard work and devotion of the Little Sisters of the Poor, who are dedicated to taking care of our beloved elders. He also thanked the sisters and residents for their support in prayers for the (SPPCS) as we continue to ensure the safe of all in our communities.
Members of the SPPCS choir performed for the residents and it was a joyous occasion filled with laughter, singing, and dancing by both parties. SPPCS also presented monetary and food donations to the Mapufagalele to assist with the upkeep and health of its residents. The visit not only served as an opportunity for the SPPCS to express their gratitude but also provided the elderly residents with an enjoyable and uplifting experience. The medley of hymns and carols performed by the choir brought a sense of celebration and appreciation to the gathering.
Commissioner of behalf on SPPCS extended a Merry Christmas to all the fathers and mothers residing at the Mapuifagalele Elderly Home. This visit not only brought joy and laughter but also served as a reminder of the importance of cherishing the elderly and providing them with the love and care they deserve.
