Samoa Royal Guard Welcomes His Majesty King Tupou VI, The King of The Kingdom of Tonga - Samoa Police Prisons & Corrections Services

The Samoa Police, Prisons & Corrections Services proudly extended the highest honours to His Majesty King Tupou VI, the King of the Kingdom of Tonga; upon his arrival at Faleolo International Airport.

As the King’s flight landed, the Royal Guard of Honour stood in full ceremonial formation, reflecting discipline, respect and cultural pride; marking the occasion as one of deep reverence and friendship between Samoa and Tonga. Flags for both nations were hoisted on the ceremonial welcoming of His Majesty.

The event highlighted the SPPCS’ commitment to upholding tradition and honouring distinguished leaders with respect befitting their stature. It was a proud moment for the officers, who represented the values of service, discipline and Fa’a-Samoa in welcoming His Majesty to Samoan soil.
