Samoa Public Service Day Parade 2024: Led by SPPCS
Apia, Samoa – Friday, 22 October 2024
This morning, the Samoa Police, Prisons, and Corrections Services (SPPCS) proudly led the annual Samoa Public Service Day parade, marking the official start of this important event. The parade, a highlight of the day’s celebrations, showcased the unity and commitment of public servants across Samoa to the nation’s development.
The Public Service Day provides an excellent opportunity for Government agencies to raise awareness of their roles in achieving Samoa’s national development goals. This year’s theme, “Agaga Tautua – Spirit of Service,” reflects the dedication and collective responsibility of Samoa’s public service in fostering growth and supporting the needs of the people.
As a frontliner in serving Samoa, the SPPCS demonstrated its commitment to maintaining law and order, ensuring public safety, and contributing to the well-being of the nation. The parade included SPPCS officers from various divisions, showcasing the discipline and teamwork that define our organization.
The parade was attended by government officials, public servants, and members of the community, who came together to celebrate the vital contributions of the public sector. Following the parade, agencies hosted displays and exhibitions at government offices and public spaces, sharing insights into their work and services.
For the SPPCS, the event was a moment to reaffirm our unwavering commitment to serving Samoa with integrity, professionalism, and the spirit of service.
We extend our gratitude to all public servants who continue to work tirelessly to support the development of Samoa. Let us all carry forward the “Agaga Tautua” in our daily roles to build a stronger and more prosperous nation.
