Today, Vanuatu Police Force celebrated the successful completion of the Vanuatu Close Protection Training, where 35 officers from the Vanuatu Police and Mobile Force participated in a six(6) weeks intensive training.
The training, adapted from the Australian Federal Police CPP program, covered critical skills such as vehicle searches, VIP safeguarding, and emergency action response. The training demanded physical endurance, mental sharpness, discipline and teamwork.
Instructors from Samoa Police Prisons & Correctional Services extended their gratitude to the Australian Federal Police and Vanuatu Police Force who played a vital role in the program’s success.
Samoa Police, Prisons and Correction Service CPP insructors Senior Sergeant Junior Afereti, Corporal Sio Poliko and Corporal Tyrone Mamaia will return soon after completing this task with the mantra, “by the Pacific, for the Pacific”.
