POLICE SUCCESSFULLY EXECUTED A SEARCH WARRANT FOR ILLICIT NARCOTICS

Samoa Police, Prisons & Corrections Services (‘SPPCS’) successfully executed a Search Warrant for Narcotics on Saturday 27th May 2023 at Motootua
The operation resulted in the seizure of illicit narcotics (suspected methamphetamine, cash, utensils, ammunition and electronic devices. A 46 year old male was arrested and charged with possession of narcotics and is currently remanded in custody until the 12th June 2023 for mention.
The success of this operation serves as a warning to other individuals engaging in illegal narcotics activity and SPPCS will continue to work to disrupt and dismantle illegal drug operations in Samoa.
SPPCS would like to remind the public that drug related offences is a serious crime with severe health consequences and we urge anyone with information to come forward and report any suspicious activity.
