Olympic Day 2025

This year’s theme for International Olympic Day, celebrated on June 22, 2025, is “Let’s Move!” This theme highlights the joy of physical activity and encourages everyone to come together, fostering motivation, community, and happiness through sport. It’s a celebration of the benefits of moving together, whether through sports or other physical activities, promoting a healthier and more connected lifestyle.

SPPCS is grateful for the opportunity to raise awareness about our advocacy work and the services we provide to the public in our efforts to keep Samoa safe. We set up a booth display for participants, especially the children, where our officers shared their experiences and delivered a strong message to the youth: stay away from trouble, focus on your education, and never give up on life.

As Superintendent Aumua Col Aumua stated, “Anyone can become a police officer, but not everyone will have the passion to serve with honor and respect. Speak up if you feel violated at school or home; we are here to help and serve you. We are your family.”

The program was a great success, and we are thrilled to have connected with the youth in our community!
