Day 5 CHOGM Update

Yesterday, 25 October 2024, the Samoa Police, Prisons, and Corrections Services (SPPCS) took the lead in overseeing the official welcome ceremony of the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) , hosted at the Tuana’imato Multi-Purpose Gymnasium. Working side by side with our Pacific and international police partners, we ensured the highest standards of safety and security for all distinguished guests and attendees.

Throughout the day’s operations, SPPCS teams facilitated the smooth transit and protection of delegates and dignitaries, ensuring they reached every event venue safely and promptly . Thanks to our coordinated efforts and commitment, all security measures were effectively managed, contributing to the positive flow and organization of this significant day.
