CYBERCRIME INVESTIGATION TRAINING – POLICE ACADEMY FACILITY, TAFAIGATA

Acting Deputy Commissioner Papalii Efo Moalele delivered an opening remark to open the Cybercrime Investigation Training on behalf of the Commissioner of Police, Prisons and Correction Serives – Afioga Auapaau Logoitino Filipo at the Police Academy Facility at Tafaigata earlier this morning; Wednesday 17th September 2025.
Acting Deputy Commissioner acknowledged instructors from the Australian Federal Police, Muliagatele Enoka Feterika and Mohammed Chrara and Samoa – Australian Police Partnership for their continuous support as through their commitment in strengthening our partnership and with the expertise of Cyber Safety Pasifika, we are able to conduct this important training.
She emphasizes that Cybercrime is no longer confined to financial fraud or hacking – it extends to threats against individuals, community and even national security. She also encouraged participants that the skills they will gain over the course of this program will not only strengthen their investigative capacity but also enhance our nation’s resilience against cyber threats.
