An additional 13 SPPCS members have been promoted

For the 13 newly promoted members of the SPPCS, a new horizon awaits them. They will have the opportunity to take on new challenges and grow in their careers.
They will have the chance to make a positive impact on the organization and contribute to its continued success. With hard work and dedication, the 13 newly promoted members are sure to make a great success.
This morning, family members, friends, and colleagues gathered at All Saints Anglican Church Hall to celebrate their loved ones’ promotions.
Samoa Prisons’ Deputy Commissioner Leiataua Samuelu Afamasaga officiated the ceremony, reminding the promoted officers that, while the road ahead will be challenging, “you must never forget this day and your oath as ranked officers and seniors in the job.”
A keynote address was delivered on this momentous occasion by Commissioner Auapa’au Logoitino Filipo.
“Today marks the beginning of the new journey for the promoted officers,” said Auapa’au.
The Commissioner also congratulated the members on their accomplishments.
‘I applaud all of you for taking steps to further your careers,” the Commissioner said.
“It’s not an easy path,” he said, “but I encourage you to stay on course and do your best in serving the people of Samoa, as well as our visitors.”
Reiterating the adage, “with great power comes great responsibility.”
The 13 newly elevated members were subsequently sworn into their new positions.
