SPPCS members graduates from APTC & AUT.
Samoa Police, Prisons and Corrections continues to celebrate its staff member’s accomplishments this week. Eleven sworn and three non-sworn officers graduated from the Australian Pacific Training Coalition this morning. A proud moment for the Ministry and its continuous development.
Commissioner Auapa’au Logoitino Filipo witnessed this memorable event, which was held at the National University of Samoa’s gymnasium. The ceremony saw fourteen members graduate from the Diploma of Counselling and Advanced Trainer and Assessors Course for International Skills Training. Auapa’au congratulated all fourteen members and encouraged them to use what they have gained and acquired from these training sessions to further improve the Ministry’s everyday work.

The Ministry also congratulates Senior ICT Officer- Digital Forensics Analyst Perefoti Timothy Komiti who this week also attained his Master’s Degree in Information Security and Digital Forensics from Auckland University of Technology. Timothy supposedly graduated back in 2020, but due to the global pandemic and restrictions, the graduation was postponed. Nevertheless, Timothy marched on to get that Master’s Degree earlier this week.
Commissioner Auapaau and the Executive Management extend their heartfelt congratulations to all its members for their achievements.
