Samoa Police Commissioner and Executive Members visited New Zealand Police Commissioner

Samoa Police, Prisons & Corrections Services Commissioner Auapa’au Logoitino Filipo, Deputy Commissioner Papali’i Monalisa Tiai-Keti and three (3) other SPPCS members arrived in New Zealand over the weekend, ahead of New Zealand Commissioner of Police Andrew Coaster’s invitation.

New Zealand Police Commissioner Andrew Coster has extended his invitation to SPPCS Commissioner and his delegates. Upon the visit will see SPPCS and NZPOL demonstrate and discuss prevention approaches. It will also include a dialogue on the 2019 Structure Review Report of Samoa Police which NZPOL had assisted SPPCS. It will also see SPPCS members visit the NZ Royal Police College to “observe aspects of New Zealand Police recruitment and training, Dog Training Centre.

NZPOL will also discuss their prospective support to Samoa Police in the future. Samoa Police Commissioner Auapa’au will, however, utilize this forum to give deliberation of support for the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in 2024.
