Executive Senior Management’s Awareness Program Workshop on Strategic Plan and Domestic Violence.

Samoa Police, Prisons and Correction Services’ One day workshop is conducted on the Ministry’s noted Strategic Plan and the ongoing threat of Domestic Violence within Samoa. The awareness program is done to ensure, instill and reignite SPPCS’s Vision of “Working together for a safe and secure Samoa”
Senior Management had the opportunity to discuss and share ideas and comments on the Awareness Programs and challenges SPPCS face daily, to evaluate the sort of approach or response Samoa Police, Prisons & Corrections Services can work towards these ongoing crimes such as Domestic Violence crimes.

Giving a depth understanding of the work and responsibilities of Samoa Police, Prisons and Correction Services in responding to domestic violence cases.
The awareness program workshop is part and partial of Samoa Police, Prisons and Correction Service’s ongoing support for the 16 Days of Activism- “The fight to eradicate Violence against women and children, persons with disabilities and men” which is spearheaded by the Ministry of Women, Community and Social Development. An initiative driven by UNESCO’s Spotlight Initiative.
Samoa Police, Prisons and Correction Services acknowledges UNESCO Samoa Spotlight Initiative for funding this important workshop.
