Our Samoa Police, Prisons & Corrections Services ICT Unit joins other government agencies, non-government organisations and the private sector for Cyber Smart Samoa this week spearheaded by SAMOA MCIT. Joining this event is the Pacific Global Forum for Cyber Expertise Cherie Lagakali GFCE Pacific Advisor and team.
The Hub is in Samoa as part of its ongoing community engagement with different Pacific Islands on Cyber Awareness. The team took time yesterday to meet up with our ICT ACEO Angelo Chan Mow and Senior ICT Officer-Digital Forensic Analyst Timothy Komiti discussing works around cyber safety. “The GFCE hub team through its facilitative role will this week join other key partners, the CERT NZ, Trustwave, and Samoa Information Technology Society (SITA) for Cyber Smart Samoa. It is noted that the event encompasses a week-long training for technical community to collaborate on how to stay safe online”
