The responsible thing to do is to not get behind the wheel if you have had a drink.
You can also be a responsible friend and lose the car keys if your friend insists on driving drunk. You may be saving his/her life and the lives of others.
Irresponsible drivers are idiots that do not deserve a present from Santa.
