SPPCS Royal Police Band Members Recognized for Outstanding Achievements
The Samoa Police, Prisons, and Corrections Services (SPPCS) is proud to celebrate the outstanding achievements of three members of the Royal Police Band, who have demonstrated excellence and dedication in their respective musical pursuits. Their accomplishments bring honor to the SPPCS and reflect the organization’s commitment to fostering talent and professional growth.
Senior Sergeant Tunupopo successfully completed the highly regarded Band Leader Course at the New Zealand Army School of Music. This achievement underscores his leadership and significant contribution to the growth and success of the Samoa Royal Police Band.
Corporal Carmen Tausili has set new benchmarks of excellence, becoming the first representative from SPPCS to win the New Zealand Army Band Solo Competition. His participation in the Mutual
Assistance Programme (MAP) Musician’s Course 2023, courtesy of the New Zealand Army Band School of Music, further highlights his remarkable talent.
Copral Tausili also participated in the National Brass Band Championship in Dunedin last year, showcasing his skills on an international stage. His achievements have solidified his place as a distinguished musician and a proud representative of the SPPCS Royal Police Band.
Constable Tagata Saleutogi successfully completed the MAP Musician’s Course, further enhancing his expertise and the overall proficiency of the SPPCS Royal Police Band. His dedication to professional development exemplifies the organization’s values of discipline and excellence.
